The Diploma is designed for senior finance professionals with a good undergraduate degree and at least five years' experience. Most participants also hold relevant professional qualifications such as ICA, ACCA, CIMA, CFA or postgraduate qualifications including MBA or MSc.
Participants are likely to be middle or senior managers seeking to equip themselves to take a more active role in the financial and business strategy of their organisation. For example, participants may be Controllers or Treasurers wishing to rise to Finance Director, or Finance Directors with ambitions to move to larger companies or to gain a CEO / MD role.
We attract a range of professionals from financial institutions and financial services organisations including investment analysts and regional managers from investment banks, and partners from accounting and consulting firms.
While the largest group work in financial services, participants come from a variety of backgrounds and sectors including: telecoms, media, retail, infrastructure and technology companies. Participants from charities, NGOs and the public sector also benefit from this programme.
The diploma attracts a highly international group of participants and provides a global perspective. Around one third of participants are UK based with two thirds coming from Continental Europe, North America, Middle East, Africa and Asia. Countries represented include France, Germany, Russia, Poland, Saudi Arabia, India, Brazil and the USA as well as the UK.
