The School of Geography and the Environment (SoGE) is internationally renowned for the quality and diversity of its research in the field of Geography across the disciplinary spectrum of environmental, social and human science activities.
Students without previous experience of geography are encouraged to apply.
- MSc in Biodiversity, Conservation and Management designed to develop critical understandings of conservation and biodiversity science and practice, and the socio-economic, political, cultural and institutional environments within which policy and management decisions are made.
- MSc in Environmental Change and Management aims to produce students with a broad appreciation of all aspects of the management of people and institutions in relation to environmental change, who are analytical in their approach, and are competent and aware decision makers.
- MSc in Nature, Society and Environmental Policy recognizes that responding to profound political and environmental challenges requires a new generation of researchers and policy professionals who are able to think in innovative, rigorous and flexible ways across disciplinary and sectoral boundaries.
- MSc in Water Science, Policy and Management aims to equip the next generation of water professionals with the blend of skills necessary to make a significant contribution to sustainable water management pathways across competing priorities of water for ecosystems, food, energy, economic growth and human consumption.
The MSc programmes will provide you with in depth understanding of the complex dynamic between environment, society and markets based on theory and empirical evidence. Students will be then able to combine these with enhanced management skills gained through the completion of the MBA programme at Saïd Business School.
