"Prior to joining the Executive MBA programme at Saïd Business School I was involved in the design and implementation of multi-million dollar projects at leading Fortune 500 consulting and security companies in the IT and the defense industry. My degrees in Electrical Engineering followed by postgraduate studies in Engineering and Management from the University of Texas at Austin and MIT gave me a strong foundation for my work with one of the leading IT Security companies in the world.
I had more than ten years of experience in IT, business operations, strategy, and management consulting to bring to an Executive MBA programme and I chose the Saïd Business School because of the strength of its world renowned brand. It also helped that Saïd Business School offered access to the highest calibre of international professors managing to combine the best practices of North America, UK and Europe therefore preparing its students for the new global economy.
There were many highlights during my Executive MBA, but most notable were the high standard of teaching and access to the vast Saïd Business School network. Graduating from Oxford has assisted me in defining my career path moving forward. Along with my professional experience, knowledge of the emerging market in the Middle East region, the Executive MBA and the Oxford alumni network have supported me in moving ahead faster in my career initially as a Senior Executive at one of the Big 4 consulting firms and currently as a Principal with Mercer Consulting (Marsh and McLennan Companies) one of the leading firms in the Human Resources Consulting Business.
My time at Oxford has given me the confidence to achieve my future goals. I aim to express my passion in business and politics by contributing to the world's economy, especially in the Middle East, by investing in new start-up companies, while maintaining a senior executive level position in multi-Billion Dollar corporations. I am a strong believer of corporate social responsibility (CSR) and aim for this to be the backbone of all I do."
