Benedikt rejoined the Saïd Business School to start the DPhil in
Management Studies in 2010, after completing a MSc in Management Research in 2007 with distinction. In his MSc Benedikt completed a dissertation project focused on collaborative innovation in the automotive industry. His DPhil, supervised by Victor Seidel, focuses on how firms co-create product innovation with consumers over the internet. He is particularly interested in the internal firm practices needed to realize successful co-creation projects.
Prior to coming back to Oxford, Benedikt worked for three years as a strategy consultant with Bain & Company in Germany. Focusing on projects in consumer strategy, marketing and product innovation he worked in the consumer goods, industrial goods/automotive and financial services industry.
Benedikt is a member of Green Tempelton College and holds a Green Tempelton Management Scholarship for his DPhil studies. In addition to his studies at Oxford, Benedikt completed a MA in Strategy and International Management at the University of St. Gallen, Switzerland and a BSc in Economics and Management at the University of Manchester.
