Graduate salaries
The average salary for students graduating from the Saïd Business School is the highest for all undergraduate programmes at Oxford University, at £36,900.
Employment
Many of the graduates of the Saïd Business School take up careers in Finance, Investment, Accountancy and Management Consulting. Of the July 2010 returns, about 60% reported employment in this sector.
Employers
As would be expected, many of the employers are drawn from the financial sector. The most significant employers from the 2010 returns are PWC, Citi Group, Deutsche Bank, JP Morgan, and the Boston Consulting Group, with many other top consulting, investment and accountancy firms recruiting our graduates. Manufacturing, healthcare and public sector employers are also enthusiastic recruiters of our students.
Further study
A number of our graduates proceed to further study, such as higher degrees by research, or taught masters. Some seek further professional qualifications. In July 2010, 11% of respondents proceeded to further study, and another 5% combined work and further study.
