 Katarzyna Bilicka

Katarzyna BilickaKatarzyna joined the Centre as a Research Fellow in October 2010. Previously she studied BSc Mathematics and Economics at the University of Warwick, and continued with her studies to obtain an MSc in Economics and International Financial Economics in 2010.

At the Centre she conducts research on various topics related to business taxation and fiscal policy. She is also responsible for the maintenance and development of the CBT Tax Database.

My research interests span the broad topics of business taxation and fiscal policy. Specifically, I previously worked on the implications of fiscal consolidations for short term growth. I have contributed to the development of the tax database at the Centre, which resulted in the report: “G20 Corporate Tax Ranking 2011”. I have also undertaken research on tax information exchange agreements involving tax havens; in particular, the determinants of the likelihood of forming such agreements. I am currently examining the relationship between corporate tax rates and corporate tax revenues during the business cycle phases.
