Ben Lockwood is Professor of Economics at Warwick University and his research areas include empirical and theoretical aspects of tax competition and fiscal decentralisation.  His teaching covers the economics of public policy, economic analysis and international financial economics. 

Professor Lockwood is a research affiliate of the ESRC Centre for the Study of Globalisation and Regionalisation and Director of Graduate Studies at the University of Warwick.  He is a member of the editorial Board for International Tax and Public Finance, FinanzArchiv, Journal of Macroeconomics and Journal of Public Economics.
