The Centre’s research is funded by a number of sources, predominantly the Economic and Social Research Council (ESRC) and a large number of individual businesses. The ESRC finances a four-year programme, entitled “Business, Tax and Welfare”, which began in October 2008 (project RES-060-25-0033).
Most of the Centre’s research projects are jointly funded from these sources. The description of the research in these pages broadly follows the outline of our ESRC research programme.
