Claire has a BA and MA from Stanford University, in California where she was born and raised. Claire chose Oxford for its forward thinking, international outlook, one-year programme and because it houses the Skoll Centre for Social Entrepreneurship. "The scholarship is fantastic,” says Claire. “It’s comprehensive, in that it covers your tuition and living expenses and the program is incredibly supportive, both while you're there studying and afterward. The chance to work with others in my field and take part in rigorous social entrepreneurship courses is unparalleled," she says.
