13-15 September, 2010Saïd Business SchoolThe 2010 International Social Innovation Research Conference is an international scholarly conference centred on multi-disciplinary social entrepreneurship research. The three day conference will have one day dedicated to UK-based research and two days of international papers. ISIRC is an open conference that brings together scholars from around the globe to discuss the role of innovation in social businesses, social movements, not-for-profits, state actors, and the broader social economy. Travel and Accommodation
The city of dreaming spires, Oxford is 56 miles (90km) north-west of London, with excellent bus and rail services, and has a population of approximately 180,000. Ancient and beautiful buildings dominate the city. It is strongly identifiable as a university town, with its college spires and 30,000 students. University of Oxford is the oldest university in the English-speaking world and composed of 39 colleges.
