MBAs supporting social entrepreneurs
In need of strategic help? Struggling with a big question about where to take your business?
Teams of MBAs can support you. Each year, the Skoll Centre sources several social enterprises for Oxford MBAs to engage with and contribute their expertise to. Learn more.
Projects enable us to make a direct contribution to social entrepreneurs internationally and to equip students with learning-by-doing experiences. In the past, students have supported the start-up of new ventures with comprehensive business plans, social businesses to expand their strategic options, and organisations to answer critical questions about their growth plans.
Typically teams comprise four or five students from a range of professional backgrounds and countries. They bring considerable perspective, maturity and expertise to their work. They will engage with you full time in July and August to provide a specific deliverable that your organisation requires.
Around 25-30 students work on projects focused on environmental and social issues each year, so competition is tough for five to six teams. The Skoll Centre will give priority to highly entrepreneurial initiatives.
