Courses in Social Entrepreneurship >
We offer Oxford MBA students the opportunity to study three social entrepreneurship electives.  The Oxford MBA requires students to take a number of core course, which can be complimented by one or all three of the following social entrepreneurship electives:

  1. Social Entrepreneurship & Innovation explores the nature and range of social entrepreneurship and innovation in its international context
  2. Social Finance investigates the development of social finance markets and the landscape of social investments
  3. Social Enterprise Design encompasses design and development aspects of social ventures within their institutional context.
Our academic approach is multi-disciplinary, incorporating areas, for example, of strategy, marketing, finance, and organisational behaviour. The courses take the form of lectures, discussions, and case studies. As well as academic analysis and framing of the issues, the courses include a range of guest speakers from major social sector organisations.
