Overview

Stefano Lucchini is the Senior Executive Vice President for Public Affairs and Communication at the Eni Group.

He graduated in Economics and Business Administration from LUISS University in Rome and joined the Montedison studies' department.  After working as Assistant to the Chairman (Mr John D. Dingell-D) of the Energy and Commerce Committee at the U.S. House of Representatives of the Congress in Washington, D.C., he became Manager for Corporate Communication at Montedison USA in New York. He received a degree from INSEAD Business School.

Stefano has been head of Investor Relations at the Ferruzzi Montedison Group, Director OF External Relations for Enel, Confindustria and Banca Intesa Group. He is also a member of the boards of Censis, the Fondazione Eni Enrico Mattei (FEEM) and the Eni Foundation. He is a Member of the Advisory Board MBA Program LUISS, a Member of the Committee of Guarantors for the celebrations of the 150th Anniversary of Italian Unification and Member of the Board of Directors of the American Chamber of Commerce in Italy.

He teaches at the High School for Journalism at the Università Cattolica (Milan) where he is also a member of the Evaluation Committee. Stefano was awarded the Silver Cross by the Italian Red Cross and is a Commander of the Italian Republic. He chaired the Benedictus XVI Pro Familia et Matrimonia Vatican Foundation. Stefano and his wife Silvia have two children.
