 Bo Lerenius, CBE 

Overview

Bo is a Senior Advisor to EQT Venture Capital, Stockholm, and sits as a Director on a number of Boards.  He is Honorary Vice President of the Swedish Chamber of Commerce for the UK, and Non-Executive Director of G4S plc and Rorvik Timber plc. Since February 2011, Bo has been Chairman of Koole Tanktransport, a company based in Rotterdam, Holland and involved in the terminal and shipping business. Since September 2011, Bo has been Chairman of Brunswick Rail, a company based in Moscow and involved in the rail car leasing business.

Between 1999 and 2007, Bo was Group Chief Executive Associated British Ports Holdings plc. 

He has held a number of other senior positions including Chairman of Mouchel plc; Non-Executive Director of Thomas Cook; Non-Executive Director of Land Securities; Deputy Chairman of Stena Line plc (1998-99); CEO, Stena Line plc (1992-98); CEO, Ernstrom Group plc, a building materials and industrial minerals group (1985-92); Division Director, Tarkett Flooring, a Swedish Match Group (1983-85) and a Division Director of the Nobel Group (1980-83).

He has a BA in Business Administration, from the University of Lund in Sweden and graduated from Westchester High School in Los Angeles.

He was awarded a CBE in 2005 and became Honorary Doctor in Business Administration at the London Metropolitan University in 2006.
