Centre for Corporate Reputation Director, Rupert Younger, appeared on Sky News's Jeff Randall Live show to discuss the BP crisis.

“BP’s reputation for safety is of major concern” said Rupert Younger in a live interview with Jeff Randall on his Sky News show. In answering a question on the long term effects of the crisis on BP’s reputation, Rupert commented that BP Chief Executive, Tony Hayward was brought in to BP on the promise that safety was their number one priority.

In answer to a question on how BP was handling the disaster, Rupert said “Operationally time will tell. They have learned that quick reaction times help. Undoubtedly, they are going to be judged in the court of public opinion.”
