 Markus Reihlen 

Markus Reihlen is the Otto Group Professor of Strategic Management and Associate Dean (Master Programs) in the Faculty of Business and Economics at Leuphana University of Lüneburg, Germany. After his studies of Business Administration at the Universities of Giessen, Wisconsin-Milwaukee, and Cologne, he received his Ph.D. and Habilitation degree at the University of Cologne. Before joining Leuphana University of Lüneburg, he held various visiting professor positions, including the University of Mannheim, the University of Technology Aachen, the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, and was a guest researcher at Oxford University, the Copenhagen Business School, and McGill University. He has received awards in research and teaching, including the Best Paper Award of the Academy of Management (Management Consulting Division) in two consecutive years and the Gold Star Teaching Award from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee.

Markus is the author and co-editor of five books on innovation, process management, networks and alliances, internationalization, and entrepreneurship in professional services. His academic work has been published in such journals as the Journal of Management Studies, International Journal of Service Industry Management, Research in the Sociology of Organization, Scandinavian Journal of Management, and Schmalenbach Business Review. He serves on the editorial board of the Journal of Management Studies and regularly reviews for a number of international journals, including the Journal of Management Studies, Journal of Organizational Behavior, and Organization Studies. His research interests are at the cross-road of professional service organizations and research in strategic management, organizational communication, and organization theory.
