Do PSF Network Ties Have Legs?
Claudia Jonczyk, Associate Professor in Organisational Behaviour at ESCP Europe’s London campus, spoke at a Centre seminar on 7 November on ‘Should they stay or should they go? Determinants of network tie maintenance: a longitudinal perspective’. Presenting preliminary findings from a study of over 90 managers in high performing firms in the fields of law, auditing and consulting, Professor Jonczyk concluded the persistence of managers’ network ties depended more on the intensity rather than the range and that knowledge co-creation was a key factor.
