Centre Associate David Brock visited Leuphana University
Faculty of Business and Economics in Luneburg in November 2011, to work with Professor Markus Reihlen (also a Centre Associate) on ‘Error management in professonal service firms’. While there, he also presented a research seminar on ‘The internationalization of professional services: the organizational challenges’.
In addition Professor Brock has two articles to appear shortly: ‘Building global capabilities: a study of globalizing professional service firms’ in The Services Industries Journal 32(10) and ‘The development of strategic management: the evolution of research topics and article characteristics’ co-written with O. Azar and due to be published in Contemporary Management Research 8(1).
Professor Reihlen is also editing, with Andreas Werr, The Handbook of Research on Entrepreneurship in Professional Services to be published in 2012 by Edward Elgar. Its appearance will be especially timely in that the topic of entrepreneurship in PSFs forms the theme of the next Novak Druce Centre’s Annual Conference which will be held at Lüneburg jointly with Leuphana University.
