Paul has been consulting for over 20 years. As Managing Director with various global consulting companies, he led their private equity business and developed growth and acquisition plans for clients. Paul has worked on commercial due diligence projects for approx. 80 PE firms and was responsible for more than 350 projects.
Paul Fletcher

Senior Partner - Actis

Before joining Actis, Paul has previously been Head of Emerging Markets Strategic Planning for Citibank in London, and General Manager for Citibank in East Africa. He has also spent eight years working as a Corporate Finance professional in New York, Tokyo and London.

Before the creation of Cap Gen Partners, Khaled managed a family office, foucssing particularly on asset allocation issues. Prior to joinng the asset management world, he worked as a strategy consultant at Bain and Company working on various projects.

Oleg has more than 17 years of successful experience in investment banking, including management positions at leading Russian firms such as Uralsib and Rosbank. He currently heads the Russian AIM project and prepares CIS companies for IPOs on the AIM.

Laura Brightsen

Managing Director, Private Equity Marketing - AIG Highstar Capital

Laura Brightsen is a marketing and strategy consultant with a focus on the private equity and venture capital industry based in New York and has worked with many clients to strategize how to improve the GP/LP relationships.

Laura was previously Head of Marketing for Apax Partners and Director of Marketing at American Securities. Previously she has also held a number of senior level marketing, P&L, and business development roles in large capitalization companies, including MCI, Winstar Communications, and Automatic Data Processing.
Michelle Ashworth

Senior Investment Manager - VenCap International plc

Michelle joined VenCap in 1998 and has significant private equity experience, having been involved in the investment process at VenCap for ten years. Together with VenCap’s Director, Fund Investments, Tim Cruttenden, and Investment Managers, David Clark and Benedict Kelly, Michelle is responsible for the selection, execution and monitoring of fund investments across the US, Europe and Asia. She is also primarily responsible for fund investment activities in China.

Michael is chair of Northedge Capital partners, a new mid-market fund based in Manchester which is currently raising its first fund. He has previously been CEO of LDC, MD Structured Finance at Lloyds Banking Group and chair of LDC, and head of mezzanine finance at DE Shaw in London.
Jeff Paduch

Jeff has worked on Advent's investments in several companies, including WorldPay, Cardsave, Xafinity, Equiniti (formerly Lloyds TSB Registrars), Domestic & General, CAMS, Sophis, Venere Net, American Radiology Services, Long Term Care Group, WageWorks and Aspen Technology.

Jeff joined Advent in 2002 from the Financial Sponsors/Leveraged Finance Group of UBS Warburg, where he advised private equity firms on acquisition financings, mergers and equity offerings across a variety of industries.
