Pegram Harrison joined the Faculty of Saïd Business School in January 2009 as Fellow in Entrepreneurship.
His current research concerns entrepreneurship in Islamic societies (especially South Asia), entrepreneurial activity in economically disadvantaged areas or regions attempting to recover from economic shock (conflict, industry collapse, ecological disaster) and entrepreneurship education. His professional experience spans working with entrepreneurial start-ups and growing businesses, as well as with multinational corporations in the fields of manufacturing, finance and management consulting. He has also worked extensively with nonprofits such as museums, government agencies, and civic organizations which fostered his interest in developing leadership capacity in emerging organizations as well as individuals.
Harrison holds a BA from Yale, a PhD from Cambridge and an MBA from the London Business School. He previously held a post as Director of the Emerging Leaders Programme at London Business School and prior to this as Principal Lecturer in Entrepreneurial Management at the European Business School London. He also is a regular guest speaker at the London School of Economics and universities in Portugal, France, and the States.
