Martin Goossen graduated from Merton College in 2009 with an MSc in Management Research.  Before coming to the UK, he studied finance and IT management at Tilburg University, in the south of the Netherlands, where he was engaged in the student career organisation.  During his time in Oxford, he was strongly involved in organizing social activities within the programme and within the college.  In the MSc programme, he selected courses on qualitative methods and innovation and wrote his thesis about knowledge management in the healthcare system under supervision of Professor Sue Dopson.  Currently Martin is pursuing a PhD in strategy at HEC Paris. He writes his dissertation under supervision of Professor Corey Phelps about the effects of inter-organizational networks upon the types of innovations (refinement or renewing) organisations bring forward.
