Centre for Corporate Reputation Research Fellow, Dr Liz David-Barrett joined the inaugural conference of the Kellogg Centre for the Study of Governance and Transparency on January 13, 2011. Speaking about corporate responses to anti bribery laws, Liz said that the challenge is to encourage companies to stay in bribe-prone markets but to change their practices. If anti-bribery conventions and legislation can be used to create an environment where integrity in business is commercially valuable, then both businesses and developing countries will benefit.
